“Through My Eyes” Exhibition
Advocate Bar, 81-85 Chichester Street, Belfast - 8th May 2008!
“I paint from my heart. Even when I am focused on a specific subject matter – I am interested in expressing it my way. I aim to capture the thoughts and feelings that connect each and every one of us. “Through my Eyes” is a display of how I see and feel and ultimately where I am at as a person and artist.” (Conlan April 2008)
Lisa’s world is colourful indeed. She paints with an energy that is unique to canvas, strongly skilled and intensely emotional. There is honest feeling on her canvas and she isn’t afraid to express it.
Through my Eyes is an exhibition of mixed subjects and works by Lisa Conlan – on display in the Advocate, Belfast, for one day only; 8th May 2008. The evening event will commence at 7.30pm and there will be wine and food provided with a chance to win a painting by the artist, proceeds of which will go to Marie Curie Cancer.

Strength of Movement exhibition
John Hewitt Bar, Belfast, 03.03.08
International Artist Lisa Conlan invites you to attend the unveiling of her latest collection: Strength of Movement, an exhibition of mainly martial arts inspired paintings. The exhibition opening will be on Monday 3rd March 2008 at 7.30pm until late, In the John Hewitt bar / restaurant, 51 Donegall Street, Belfast (www.thejohnhewitt.com). Lisa's work will be on display at an exhibition of vagina inspired artwork! at The Black Box, Waring St, Belfast, to run alongside performances of Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues opening 7.30pm 25th June and open all day 26th 27th June before performances. The Power of Enlightenment

The Drummond Hotel, Ballykelly, was the choice of venue for Lisa’s second exhibition on Wednesday June 14th 2006. ‘The Power of Enlightenment’ was an exciting affair indeed as it seen the unveiling of eight new pieces, including a painting inspired by a visit to Medugorje which was gifted to the owner of the Drummond Hotel as a thank-you for the use of the space. |

The Path to Inner Peace

On April 12, 2006, Lisa launched her eagerly awaited first collection, The Path to Inner Peace, to much praise
in the exclusive surroundings of Belfast's Café Vaudeville. There were 45 pieces in total, including two 3D sculpture works. The exhibition attracted vast amounts of patrons from all walks of life; those in attendance were not disappointed. |
